Winter Sports in Brian HeadSkiing and Snowboarding is only 3 hours from Las Vegas at Brian Head Ski Resort above Cedar City/Parowan . Brian Head has separate beginner and more difficult slopes to accomodate all. Ski school is offered at Navajo and bigger slopes with a snowboard park are around the corner at Giant Steps slopes. Here is a map of the Giant Steps area. Brian Head has been recieving good snow over the past few years so we are expecting a big winter this year. There is a bus system in place to shuttle between the two areas. Brian Head is currently in the process of connecting the two ski areas to allow easier use of the resort. Brian Head is nice because the lines are never long and on the weekdays you can pretty much have the resort to yourself. Brian Head also has some great snowmobiling terrain around the Cedar Breaks National Monument. Snowmobiles, snowboards, and snowbikes can be rented in town. Go Back<-<-<- |
