Fishing near Brian Head Utah

Brian Head is close to many great fishing spots. Yankee Meadow and Hendrickson lake are both a short drive, hike, or bike away. Panguitch Lake, as seen to the left, can be biked to or you can drive it is only about 15 miles away. There are some small streams and ponds on the Brian Head plateau that also offer Brook Trout fishing.

Duck Creek, Navajo Lake and Mammoth Creek are all just a half hour drive away and offer some great stream and lake fishing for Brown, Rainbow, and Brook Trout. There are miles of fish filled river to fish on the Mammoth Creek. Within an hour or two from Brian Head you can enjoy numerous other lakes, creeks, and ponds full of fish. Otter Creek, Piute Reservoir, and Fish Lake are just a few of the great fishing spots in Southern Utah.

Always be sure to check current fishing proclamations for rules and regulations. These can be picked up at most Walmarts, bait shops, gas stations, etc. in the area. Also some waters on private property may be reserved for residents or land owners only, but there are plenty of fishing areas open to the public all over this area.
