Annual Events in and around Brian Head

New Years Eve in Brian Head     Brian Head has some very fun events throughout the year. Although the town is small there are always things going on or being planned. Brian Head is home to not only world famous Utah powder, but also a great place to spend holidays. The town strives to entertain its guests whether its New Years Eve or the Fourth of July. During the summer there are lots of things going on for tourists and vacationers to enjoy. Thunder on the mountain is a motorcycle run that comes to Brian Head every July. Firework shows are put on by the city every year during the Fourth of July and New Years Eve. Since the town celebrates the heritage of the German Immigrants that helped form Brian Head, Octoberfest is held here offering great food and company. The Iron County fair in Parowan every September has rodeos, a carnival, and other competitions and art displays. The Christmas holidays are popular in Brian Head for people who love to ski. Brian Head has craft shows throughout the summer and on many weekends there are promotions, concerts, and local events. Brian Head has an atv poker run to Duck Creek in the summer. The fire department hosts pancake breakfasts and firesides often to raise money and bring the community together. Duck Creek Days just 20 minutes from Brian Head is held the 3rd weekend in July and has a chili cookoff and arts fair.
